My return to Argania has not been what I would consider pleasant... It has been somewhat pleasant to see familiar faces, much like Kae, Kaldor and Jace... It is disheartening that some people that I had bonded with before no longer are present inside the borders. It is nice to see new faces, I worry about many things... Kaldor and I returned on the same day... Quite disheartening, given that Kaldor is a Rune Knight, Kae is a Rune Knight, and I am a Cleric... Outcast or not, I still consider myself to be a devout follower of the Order. I look upon this as a bad omen, given that I continue to dream about Magus and his return. His re-emergence would prove to be quite the problem for the three of us. I have taken it upon myself, without the knowledge of the others to begin searching for what may be an Ancient Cleric Training Grounds. Sealed from the time of Magus' Fall, when all Clerics came to live in the Kingdom of Shadows. However, I have had to put my search on hold for the time being. My Battle Maiden of a Queen, Kae has decided to get herself an admirer, who believes that threatening her will bring about the downfall of the Kingdom. I've made it a point, since she refuses to allow me to roam about on my own, to take the very guards assigned to protect me, and begin training them in the Clerical Arts... The art of Assassination, and have them work their way to their own Runic Power... If nothing else, it will give me an edge in battle, as one Cleric has proven fatal to many enemies, four could prove disastrous to anyone who wishes harm upon me or my friends...
It is strange, being a Prince... I must say, I am not used to the formalities. And it's especially strange now, given that I have been living in seclusion for the last five years... In the mountains, training day in and day out... Living a life of solitude. Most people, like Jace, expect me to pick up my royal duties, and be pleasant to everyone... However, how can I do so whenever I am still getting accustomed to being around people... I guess only time will aid in my recovery.
I assume that is all I will be writing for today... Perhaps one day soon, I will be adding more...
